All picnics are open to the public unless otherwise noted.

THE GROUNDS OF ST. mARY'S FRANCISCAN FATHERS

Generations pilgrims and guests have enjoyed the picnics on the “hill” of the grounds of the St. Mary’s Franciscan Fathers. We invite you to discover and enjoy the beauty of these grounds. We ask your help in protecting and preserving all parts of this American Slovenian treasure.

It is the responsibility of all guests to exercise common sense and courtesy toward all:

• Outside food and beverages (including coolers) are prohibited except for those requiring dietary needs.
  
• Pets are not allowed within the picnic grounds
  
• Picnic ends at dusk.
  
• Please park only in designated parking spots or as posted and/or instructed.
  
• Obey posted speed limits; within the grounds the speed limit is 5mph/8kmh
  
• Please respect the beauty of the landscape. Do not litter.
  
• Fishing and hunting are prohibited and are strictly enforced.
  
• Please respect the grotto and areas surrounding it as sacred places of spiritual mediation and prayer.
