Policy change with regard to reservations

The Slovenian Catholic/Cultural Center’s Board of Directors has approved a policy change with regard to event reservations.  It has been decided that there will be two types of pricing:  on-time pricing and  after reservation deadline pricing. This change applies only to events that require a paid reservation in advance.  This does not include monthly dinners or Sunday luncheons.


Currently, there are five events throughout the year where a pre-paid reservation is required.   This method helps our event coordinators create a more organized accommodation of seating larger crowds, so that many people can enjoy the events, and also assists with food planning.  


Starting with the next pre-paid reservation event, the Appreciation Dinner on Sunday, March 30, 2014, the following rules will be in effect going forward:


  • The on-time ticket price will be honored if the reservation is received or postmarked by the published reservation deadline.
  • The after reservation deadline pricing will be required for reservations received, or postmarked, after the published reservation deadline.
  • All reservation deadlines, and after deadline prices, will be posted in the quarterly newsletter, at the Center, and online at www.slovenian-center.org.
  • No refunds will be issued after the deadline date unless an extreme circumstance occurs.  You must call the SCC if such a case may happen and a determination will be made.
